Terms of Service
Version 2026-10-04 · Effective 4 October 2026
Who this is between
These terms are between Gainflo and the business that hires us. When this says "you", it means that business and anyone you give access to.
What we do
We measure where your business appears in local search, and we do the work you hire us for — your Google listing, reviews, a website, listings elsewhere, ad planning, or some combination. What you are buying is written in your proposal, and that document controls if it and this one ever disagree.
What we do not promise
We do not promise a ranking position, a number of leads, a volume of calls, or revenue. Nobody can — search results are decided by Google, not by us, and we have no control over what your competitors do.
We will show you what we measured and what changed. When something we did made no difference, we will tell you that too.
One business per trade, per town
While you are a client, we will not take on a directly competing business in the same trade and the same market. That protection ends when your engagement ends, and it does not extend to trades or towns outside what your proposal covers.
What you are responsible for
- — Giving us accurate information about your business, including your licence, insurance and the services you actually offer.
- — Holding the licences and insurance your trade requires.
- — Making sure anything you ask us to publish is true and yours to use, including photographs and customer reviews.
- — Any access you grant us, and anything done under it.
We write about your business based on what you tell us. If it is wrong, what we publish will be wrong.
Who owns what
Your business information, your photographs and your reviews stay yours. The content we write for your website is yours to keep and to take with you.
Our software, our research and the way we measure a market stay ours. If we host your website and you leave, we will give you the content. You will need somewhere else to host it.
Paying, and stopping
Fees, billing and notice periods are in your proposal. Either of us can end the engagement with the notice written there. If none is written, thirty days.
Money you spend on advertising is paid to the ad platform, not to us, and it is yours. We never move your budget without you asking.
Other people's services
Our work depends on services we do not control — Google, Apple, Bing, phone and messaging providers, and others. If one of them changes its rules, breaks, or suspends your account, we will help you sort it out, but we are not responsible for what they do.
Limits
We do our work carefully, but we cannot guarantee an outcome. If something goes wrong and we are at fault, what we owe you is capped at the fees you paid us in the three months before the problem. We are not responsible for lost profits or business you believe you missed.
Nothing here limits anything that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you before it takes effect. Continuing to work with us after that means you accept the new version.
Where disputes go
These terms are governed by the law of the State of Utah. If we cannot sort something out between us, it goes to the courts of Utah.
